What Is Baseline Recovery
It's simply your historical recovery rate. The percentage of failed payments Stripe's been recovering for you before Redux steps in.
How do we measure it:
During your audit, we look at two things:
How many payments have failed historically
How many of those Stripe eventually recovered with its built-in recovery
We take those recovered payments, divide by total failures, and that gives us your baseline percentage. It's your real-world number and reflects what's actually been happening in your account without any extra help.
How we're different:
Redux was the first to offer "billing above baseline." We only charge you for the extra lift we create beyond what you've historically recovered. Simple as that. You only pay when we increase your recovery rate. When you win, we win.
